WEDNESDAY: January 20, Young Men/Young Women activity, 7:00 pm @ the church. "Cyber Safety". All parents are invited to attend.
SATURDAY: January 23, Ward Temple Night, 6:30 pm session.
Next Week:
TUESDAY: January 26, Sister's Temple Trip, meet @ 6:30 pm in the church parking lot to carpool. We will attend the 7:30 pm session.
Other information:
- We are continuing to collect for our Relief Society Swap Meet on February 9. Please hang on to your "give-aways", or bring them to my home for storage (992 Mackenzie Creek Ave). This will be a great way to give your things away, and maybe find some treasures yourself. Everything that isn't swapped will be delivered to Deseret Industries or a local women's shelter.
- We have a family in the ward who is looking for two twin mattresses. If you have any that you are giving away, please let me know.
- Julie Lapointe is looking for a babysitter on Mondays. If you are interested, or know someone who is, please contact me or Julia.
- I have had some sister's ask me about donations for humanitarian aid for Haiti. The church has a website that you can visit to give donations. They accept all major debit and credit cards. Here is the link: http://www.ldsphilanthropies.org/humanitarian-services/. Click on Donate to LDS Humanitarian Services Emergency Response on the website to donate. This is also a great website to read about all of the help the church is providing to many different groups in need.
